Our personal style can add so much confidence to our life
The defintion of our personal style should be more than just wearing something we like, it should completely reflect us.
When walking down the street someone should be able to know what musicians you like, what books you read and what your passions are just by looking at you.
When working with clients on their personal style, I strive to inject a little romanticism into their lives and encourage them to be self expressive so their look can become an extension of their character, not just a quick decision to make every morning.

Featuring Catriona Barnes
While working with Catriona we decided on some main points to focus on in her wardrobe. She wanted to make her
style more exciting, get use out of clothes she already owns and introduce new pieces that are reflective of her character.
After many conversations I came up with some solutions.
Why a Styling Magazine?
I wanted the outcome I created to be personal to my client. This whole experience is ultimately supposed to be fun, therefore I didn’t want to just send a list of improvements, links to items and a few flat lays of outfits.
After having a couple of conversations with my client to help me determine what sort of presentations she liked, I found out that Catriona appreciates a heavy visual aspect that still has structure; she likes a balance of some written aspects and informative content.
The personal styling magazine provides a little insight into them but also who they could be. I want my client to feel seen. When they look at the magazine I want them to visualise who they can be; the fully immersive experience I’ve created should help them do that.
To make her style changes as simple as possible the magazine has interactive aspects so she can get where she needs to be as smoothly as possible.
Interactivity includes:
- Contents page links, by clicking on the desired page you will be transported there
- Clothing item links, by clicking on the item listed you will be directed to their website
