Amie Jarvis is a Stylist and Content Creator who values visual storytelling; striving to help those who understand the importance of connections and portraying this through multimedia content. With the belief that social media and fast fashion have left us feeling disconnected and desensitised she takes a more personalised approach to her practice to make self expression second nature.

Amie works closely with clients using her background in Fashion Branding and her own experience to lesson the struggles surrounding their personal style. She studies their character and uses the skills she’s obtained in visual communication to replicate this in a visual story. With careful guidance she encourages them to explore and broaden the influences on their style to help their look become an extension of their own personality. She believes that personal style does not just consist of what we like and don’t like in fashion but a combination of all the things that can mean the most to us.

With a background in Fine Art she values the importance of interpretation. Art can be interpreted differently by each individual and this is what encourages an emotional connection to a piece. Visually her work consistently plays with emotions helping her create meaningful outfits with her clients.

Amie’s personal attributes shine through in her work as she prioritises building a close relationship with her clients in order to create authentic style. She appreciates the difficulty that comes with opening up and practices patience and empathy to help create a safe creative experience. The process of self growth and how it never stops is important to Amie, which is mirrored in both her content creation and personal projects.

Her background in English Language and interest in literature lends itself to the storytelling that runs through her work.; a natural progression that has occurred due to her ever growing interest in Vintage and the story it has to tell. Initially stemming from a passion to control her environmental impact, her love of Vintage has grown largely due to the personality these pieces have to offer. Valuing the expressive elements of Vintage and how it can successfully encapsulate a whole time is a quality she is mesmerised by.
