SET DESIGN
The set design inspiration takes inspiration from a vintage interior shop.
The furniture will compliment the location perfectly and not look out of place but still create the feeling of a runway show.
Soft furnishings and dimly lit lamps will make the audience feel comfortable and relaxed so they can experience the show without any preconceptions and therefore make their own interpretations.
RUNWAY ARRANGEMENT
The show will take place in the Main Room, which has a mezzanine level with two staircases.
There will be two circulations happening at once, but going in opposites directions.
The pink line indicates one walkway.
— The models will enter from the Thornsby Room walking down the centre of the room and up staircase 2 onto the mezzanine. They will walk down the left of the mezzanine down staircase 1 and out into the Thornsby Room.
The green line indicates the second walkway.
— The models will enter from the Thornsby Room and walk up staircase 1 onto the mezzanine. They will walk down the right side of the mezzanine down staircase 2 and then walk down the centre of room before walking into the Thornsby Room.
Once all models have walked, the pathways will switch for the final walk through. The pink models will walk the green pathway and vice versa. This ensures that all guests have been able to view all the looks from the same perspective.
